Kool-Aid derived from the popular sugar water drink called Polly Pop. The name persisted--to describe Kool-Aid--for decades after it came to market. Sorry Kraft, you came up short on this one.

The non-commercial "precursor" of Kool-Aid was not fruit smack...and Kool-Aid did not start as a kraft food product. Before Kool-Aid (or Fruit Smack) was the original sugar water drink, Polly Pop. Kraft check your facts.

Working for corporate America as a temp is completely different than how they were used to be. I had been mistreated by many since the recession of the 90's. Now, I bring my own supplies like pen, coffee, water and snacks. I say hi to everybody I met, and then I go to my workplace and avoid contact with nasty people as much as I can. It is always a 50-50 chance that the department I worked for is nice to me or not. It is tiring though, especially if one of these people see me as a threat, then my real problem starts.

I used to get invited to company's parties and meetings, now they tell me "you are a temp and you are not included". With these inhumane treatment of temps, corporate America goes to hell! I think they are already in Hell. So, don't forget those people who mistreated you because because when the wheel turns around, it will be their time and if you are given that chance, do your thing the worst you can.

I wish you luck.

Hallmark is the WORST company to work for. They make their employees pay for their own water cooler. They actually have signs posted saying “THIS WATER IS ONLY FOR OUR DEPT!” and, “THIS COFFEE IS ONLY FOR US!” They are rude to independent contractors who are brought in to work on special projects, and are very petty and inhospitable. I know this because I worked for Hallmark, Kansas City, MO, and I written an article about the way it treats its employees and guests. Don't be fooled by all the Hoops and YoYo characters; it's a horrible place to work.

xfun1:
Wish you and half the country knew how to spell "they're" for "they are" instead of "there." which refers to a location.
Please learn English before writing.

"It was just a silly article.. stop complaining where your complaint does not relate to the article."---Perhaps, Correct Mug Shot, if aol put more meaningful topics up to discuss/debate, we'd post comments where they fit....otherwise, I see nothing wrong with commenting on something of interest and meaning, no matter what the article is about. Doing so only allows one to stretch ones mind and interact intelligently w/others here (regardless of what trivial articles are actually put on aol)..and I don't see this as too bad a thing at all. ??? Not sure why you do, though.
