"I have a 2002 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 and paid it off last year. I did synthetic maintenance and it still runs like new after 120K miles and a few new parts. It gets 15 mpg, and I just don't use it as much as I used to because of the gas prices. I really want a new one but just can't justify it. I lowered my insurance big time since I've owned it, and I still go camping with the kids, as this is the most important thing to me."

This will get me to work and home for a week. I also take my lunch to work to save money. The high price of gas not only hits you at the pump, it also hits you at grocery stores, department stores and entertainment. Unfortunately, we can't go without gas."

"I drive from Atlanta, GA to Chattanooga, Tenn. once a week to check on my parents. I set my cruise control on 68 MPH and I get 24 miles a gallon in my V8 engine Dodge Dakota. I used to drive around 75 and only got 15 miles per gallon on the highway. It certainly takes me a little longer to get there, but the savings outweigh the time."

I started to notice that BJ's, Sam's Club and Costco gas is about 15 cents cheaper than normal gas companies. Now I put that card to good use every time I fill up. It costs about $50 annually but it has since paid for itself after the 4th fill-up."

I cant believe there are still some people here that dont know that 70 percent of the oil from the states is shipped to other countries..Not only that, but they pay a whole lot less for it then we have to pay when we get it from somewhere else..Now tell me where thats fair to the american people who work hard to keep this country going..

A Hotdog costs $1.99 at the stand. If you make it, is about 32 cents.It takes about 30 seconds to make a perfect hotdog at home.A quart of Orange Drink is 99 cents in the store. Dont take those prices from round the world seriously because I know for a fact that one of them is incorrect. In South Africa it was $4 a gallon in February and I know its skyrocketed since then so where do they get there $2.62 per gallon... There is just way to much misinformation on the web.

it seems to me the oil companys are lining their pockets by such high prices. its effecting alot of people and bussinesses. there should be a way to have lower prices someway

PUT A BIG BOTTLE OF WATER IN YOUR TOILET>>>>>>IT SAVED ME $6.OO AT THE END OF THE MONTH ON THE WATER BILL....and that is on 1 toilet......Happy 4th everyone! ! !

i've had to cut back on going to dinner and shopping...tho i've been using cityskoop.com to find out about company sales (ie., clothing and furniture stores, hotel deals, restaurant promos). and if i'm looking for a specific item, i often use pricegrabber

For gosh sakes people, WAKE UP. Some are so quick to blame the President,no matter who is there. Look at all the Senators------Congress people who havebeen in there way too long, and done nothing....but argue and bicker with each other.....lined their own pockets with the big salaries we pay them, and Whathave they done, but.....block each other. Let them forget they are Democrat orRepublicans and do something worthwhile. Some of them should have been votedout of office many years ago...Specter.....Byrd.....Kennedy....Warner..many more
