Thomson Reuters Extel UK IR Survey Shortlist

LONDON, October 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The shortlisted companies for the Thomson Reuters Extel UK IR Survey are announced today.

The Thomson Reuters Extel Survey is the most rigorous survey of sentiment amongst buyside and sellside analysts towards companies and the effectiveness of their investor relations activities.

The winners of the awards will be announced on 26 November at the Investor Relations Society's Annual Awards Dinner.

The Thomson Reuters Extel UK Investor Relations Survey was conducted over the period 15 March - 4 June 2009 and reflects the response of over 300 buyside and sellside analysts.

The Investor Relations Society represents members working for public companies to develop effective two way communication with the markets and create a level playing field for all investors. It has nearly 600 members drawn both from the UK and overseas, including the majority of the FTSE 100 and much of the FTSE 250.
