Still Time for Community Groups to Apply for a Laptop and Year's Broadband Connection
BT Community Connections is an award scheme open to any organisation working in any field of community benefit located throughout the UK. Packages are available to groups who can demonstrate how an award will benefit their work as well as their local community.
Schools can even apply at the Cluster Award level where up to five groups can apply together for work that encourages networking. If successful, all member groups will receive additional IT equipment for use within their local communities.

- Since 2000 more than 6,500 awards have been made to a diverse range of
community groups with over six million beneficiaries.
- The scheme is targeted at community and charitable groups in areas of
deprivation with little or no IT provision.
- BTCC Awards comprise a laptop and broadband connection.
- BTCC Cluster Awards comprise a laptop, broadband connection and a
tailored package of IT equipment for each group in that cluster.
- The scheme has been accredited by the Business in the Community Awards
for Excellence.
