Rogers Communications Inc. (TSX: RCI.B), $33.20, +$2.220, 7.17%, a communication and media company is doing fairly well this morning. The company is up $2.22 or 7.17% with 1.6 million shares traded so far. The company announced earlier this week that it will pay out a quarterly dividend of $0.29/share for its Class B Non-Voting shares and Class A voting shares, to be paid on January 2, 2010, to shareholder of record on November 20, 2009. Rogers also announced that its has priced its offering of $1 billion debt securities, comprised of $500 million aggregated principal amount of 5.38% Senior Notes due 2019 and $500 million aggregated principal amount of 6.68% Senior Notes due 2039. Azure Dynamics Corporation (TSX: AZD), $0.325, +$0.065, 25%, is a developer of proprietary electric and hybrid electric drive technology for light to heavy duty commercial vehicles. It has been announced that Ford is teaming up with the company for the introduction of its battery electric Transit Connect commercial van, to hit the market in 2010. The company is teaming up with Ford has announced that it is teaming up with Ford. Azure Dynamics will integrate its Force DriveTM battery electric drive train in the Transit Connect van for commercial fleet and retail use. This recent collaboration with Ford could be what is helping fuel today’s trading activity.

Genworth Financial Inc. (NYSE: GNW), $11.26, +$1.08, 10.61%, is making gains today. The company released its third quarter results. The reported net income (before non controlling interests) was $45 million compared to a net loss of $258 million in the same quarter last year. Net operating income (before non controlling interests) was $106 million compared with $220 million for the same quarter last year. The company also announced that its Board of Directors of the Canadian division of the company, Genworth MI Canada Inc., confirmed a fourth quarter dividend of $0.22, per common share, payable on December 1, 2009, to shareholders of record on November 16, 2009. Genworth Financial is a Fortune 500 global financial security company with over $100 billion in assets employing around 6,000 people in more than 25 countries.

Activision Publishing Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI), $11.119, +$0.029, 0.26%, the company’s shares have been actively trading this morning as it was announced that now those operating with Guitar Hero 5 can import 69 tracks into Band Hero or import 61 tracks from Band Hero to Guitar Hero 5. Fans will also be able to download new tracks from artists including Lenny Kravitz and KISS. Further information on importing and downloading tracks is available on the Guitar Hero site. Activision Publishing Inc. is a California based company and a global leader in developing, publishing and distributing interactive entertainment and leisure products.

Total Nutraceutical Solution (OTCBB: TNUS), $1.13, +$0.18, 18.95%, is a nutraceutical company focusing on discovering, formulating and marketing products composed primarily of organic natural mushroom compounds containing bioactive nutrients for health benefits. The company announced that it received approval from the Public Health, Bureau of Pharmaceutical Affairs in Curacao, for the importation of its ImmuSANOTM and GlucoSANOTM product. Caribbean International Medical N.V is the distributor for this product. The initial shipment of 1,000 units was sent to CIM for distribution. Both companies are happy to be working together. TNUS is currently trading at a volume of 3.5 million which is already stronger from yesterday’s close of 2.5 million shares traded.
