PhotoMedex Offers Free Seminar for Psoriasis Patients: “A Win for Your Skin in the Daily Fight Against Psoriasis”
PhotoMedex, Inc. (Nasdaq: PHMD) a leading provider of advanced dermatology, clinical skincare and medical laser products, is hosting a free seminar in Indianapolis, IN on November 17, 2009. The seminar, “A Win for Your Skin in the Daily Fight Against Psoriasis with XTRAC® Excimer Lasers,” is open to the public and will feature three prominent local physicians (from the Dermatology Group LLC and The Dermatology Center of Indiana, LLC) explaining the New XTRAC Velocity Laser treatments for psoriasis sufferers. The XTRAC Velocity Laser is used in the treatment of mild, moderate, AND severe psoriasis.
Guest Speakers: Kenneth Dawes, M.D., Scott Fretzin, M.D., and Scott T. Guenther, M.D.
Seminar overview: Numerous clinical studies have shown the dramatic difference that “non-surgical” laser light can make in treating skin conditions such as psoriasis. The patented XTRAC Excimer Laser from PhotoMedex targets only the affected areas, sparing healthy surrounding skin. It is clinically proven to be very safe, painless and highly effective.
Our guest speakers, all leading dermatologists, will explain the laser therapy and cover the many benefits the XTRAC excimer laser treatment system offers psoriasis sufferers, including:
- No negative systemic side effects
- No “black box” warning for cancer or serious infections
- Yes, long lasting relief, typically several months free of symptoms
- Yes, reimbursed by Medicare and most major private insurance plans
Complimentary refreshments will be provided for attendees.
Who should attend: People who suffer from mild, moderate and especially severe psoriasis should learn how the XTRAC Velocity Excimer Laser therapy system is the right treatment for them. We know the devastating effects psoriasis can have on an individual’s self esteem, which is why we also encourage attendance by family members and friends of those afflicted with psoriasis.
Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
