Multicom Media Services' Town Crier Website Gets Fresh Re-Branding With Enhanced Content, New Features
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/29/09 -- Multimedia Nova Corporation (TSX VENTURE: MNC.A) -
Toronto's Town Crier Group of Community Newspapers launched its re-designed website under a new name, MyTownCrier.ca, complete with a new look and more features for readers to read about their local news and events going on in their neighbourhoods.
"For 30 years the Town Crier has been the voice of Toronto's neighbourhoods," says Publisher and Multimedia Nova President/CEO Lori Abittan. "The re-design allows us new opportunities to interact with our readers and gives them a new way to participate in their community."
The site's expanded free membership system now includes content feedback and share/viral opportunities, reader-submitted photos, an E-Card system, and more.
"Integrating improvements suggested by our online readers and giving them opportunities to participate and share is at the core of the re-design," adds Doreen Iannuzzi, Vice President of New Media.
Additional advertising revenue opportunities have also been introduced, with more in development, which compliment the Town Crier's 'shop local' approach and philosophy.
The re-designed site can be found at: http://www.MyTownCrier.ca
