Kelly Palmer Appointed Senior Vice President/Director of Business Banking at ViewPoint Bank

PLANO, Texas, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ --ViewPoint Bank has appointed seasoned community banker Kelly Palmer senior vice president and director of its business banking unit. With 25 years of North Texas banking experience in business lending and commercial real estate, Palmer will head the bank's business and treasury sales team.

A North Texas native, Palmer is actively involved in area organizations, including the Plano Chamber of Commerce, where he is the 2009 Chair-Elect. Palmer also serves as finance chair for the Plano ISD Foundation and assistant scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America. He has held leadership positions with the Plano Rotary, the Sci-Tech Discovery Center, Plano Youth Leadership and the YMCA.

Palmer holds an MBA from Stephen F Austin State University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
