Insight Achieves APC Elite Small/Medium Data Center Partner Status
Insight Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSIT), a leading, global provider of technology solutions, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Insight Direct, USA (“Insight”) has earned the APC Elite Small/Medium Data Center Partner certification. As an APC Elite Small/Medium Data Center partner, Insight can help clients in the U.S. assess, configure, design and implement solutions based on their unique requirements in the small to medium data center environment.
To achieve Elite Small/Medium Data Center status, Insight met the specialized partner training requirements set forth by APC. With a high level of expertise in APC and MGE solutions, Elite Small/Medium Data Center partners specialize in power, cooling and management for data centers 250kW and under. Through the program, Insight achieved individual certifications for APC Integrated Design Consultants and Sales Professionals. With these certifications, Insight has mastered the design and build of highly complex solutions to optimize the operations of a dynamic data center environment.
“We are delighted that Insight has become an APC Elite Data Center partner, and look forward to the expertise Insight will bring to solving customer issues associated with increased power and cooling densities, high power consumption and energy efficiency requirements,” said Robert McKernan, president, Americas, APC. “The collective experience of Insight and APC will benefit our joint customers seeking to design, build and operate a high-performance data center.”
“More and more clients are looking to drive costs out of the IT environment,” said David Casillo, SVP, Strategic Partnerships and Marketing for Insight. “This certification demonstrates Insight’s high level of expertise in APC solutions, and assures our clients that we bring proven capabilities to configure, deploy and manage the complex data center environment and achieve those cost savings for our clients.”
