Dividend Declared by Albemarle

BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB) declared today the quarterly dividend of $0.125 per share. The dividend is payable January 1, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business as of December 15, 2009. The annualized dividend rate is 50 cents per share.
