Cisco Announces Offering of Senior Unsecured Notes

SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/09/09 -- Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) today announced that it intends to offer, subject to market and other conditions, senior notes under an automatic shelf registration statement on file with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cisco intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes.
