Brightpoint Establishes Strategy Committee of Its Board of Directors
INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL) announced today that its Board of Directors has established a Strategy Committee as a standing committee of the Board of Directors. The Strategy Committee was formed to maintain a cooperative, interactive strategic planning process with Brightpoint's executive management, including the identification and setting of strategic goals and expectations and the review of potential acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. The Strategy Committee is currently comprised of: Kari-Pekka Wilska, as Chairperson and Gov. Tom Ridge and Robert J. Laikin as members.
