The Knot to publish 4 times per year

NEW YORK (AP) — Bridal magazine The Knot said Thursday it will increase its frequency from semiannual to four times per year beginning in 2010.
The move comes as magazine publisher Conde Nast is shuttering two of its wedding titles, Modern Bride and Elegant Bride. The company still puts out Brides, which is increasing its frequency to once a month from once every two months.
Shares of The Knot Inc. closed down 12 cents, or 1 percent, to $11.80.
