Stryker board switching to quarterly dividend
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Stryker Corp. said Friday its board of directors modified the Implant maker's dividend policy to quarterly periods from annual periods.
It will pay transition dividend of 10 cents per share on Dec. 16 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 18.
The company said the transition dividend boosts to 50 cents the total annual dividend paid, marking a 52 percent increase from 33 cents in 2008.
The company expects the first regular quarterly dividend to paid in January at 15 cents.
Shares of Stryker closed at $47.24 Thursday.
