Pantry CEO Sodini to retire, Marks to become CEO
CARY, N.C. (AP) — Convenience store chain Pantry Inc. said CEO Peter J. Sodini will retire next month and be succeeded by former Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. executive Terrance M. Marks.
Sodini's planned retirement was announced by the company in April.
Marks, 49, will also become president on Sept. 25. He previously served as executive vice president of the soft drink bottler Coca-Cola Enterprises and president of Coca-Cola Enterprises North American Group.
Pantry operated 1,679 stores in 11 states as of Thursday.
