InfoGroup holds annual meeting in Papillion, Neb.
PAPILLION, Neb. (AP) — Database provider InfoGroup Inc. plans to welcome shareholders to one of its suburban Omaha offices in Papillion for its annual meeting.
The 2009 event on Thursday will be the first time in several years that InfoGroup has held its shareholder meeting near its Omaha headquarters. In recent years, the company held its meeting elsewhere as it faced proxy fights and dealt with a shareholder lawsuit and SEC investigation.
InfoGroup Chairman Roger Siboni says the meeting will allow the company to show off the progress it has made in the year since it removed founder Vin Gupta from the CEO job and imposed tighter limits on spending.
InfoGroup says both the lawsuit and Securities and Exchange Commission investigation have been settled.
