GE Capital, J.C. Penney renew credit card pact

NORWALK, Conn. (AP) — GE Capital Retail Corporate Finance, a finance arm of General Electric Co., said Friday it is renewing for four years its private-label credit card program with retailer J.C. Penney Co.

GE Capital said the program provides credit to consumers shopping at the company's stores, its catalog and online.

J.C. Penney operates 1,109 department stores nationwide and in Puerto Rico.
