Emergency Medical buying anesthesiology company
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (AP) — Ambulance and physician services company Emergency Medical Services Corp. said Monday it is buying Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants and Pinnacle Consultants Mid Atlantic in a move to expand its anesthesiology services.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants and Pinnacle Consultants Mid Atlantic are leading anesthesiology services providers in the United States with more than 700 clinicians serving more than 75 hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Emergency Medical Services said the deal will add to about $100 million in new revenue from management fees and patient billings.
Shares of Emergency Medical Services fell 7 cents to $50.15 in afternoon trading.
