Cabela's sells wildlife-art unit Wild Wings
SIDNEY, Neb. (AP) — Cabela's Inc. said Wednesday that it sold its wildlife-art unit Wild Wings LLC to RDE Acquisition Co. for an undisclosed amount in order to concentrate more on its core businesses.
The outdoor gear supplier said it will still sell Wild Wings products at its stores as well as through its catalog and on its Web site.
Wild Wings sells wildlife and nature artwork as well as other collectibles through mail-order catalogs, some retail stores and online. It also licenses third parties to make and sell collectibles and other items.
The sale closed on Oct. 30.
Cabela's stock shed 16 cents to $12.64 in morning trading.
