The Western Union Foundation today donated $25,000 to Fundación
Alimentando Esperanzas, a nonprofit organization in San Jose, Costa
Rica, offering education and family support services to children and
their families.
Following through on its commitment to empower communities through
education and global economic opportunity programs, the grant is part of
Our World, Our Family(SM), a $50 million, five-year joint program of The
Western Union Company and the Western Union Foundation.

Alimentando Esperanzas, said “We want to
change the face of our community, La Promesa. Through Western Union’s
Foundation grant, Alimentando Esperanzas will now be able to expand
programs focused on basic education and family services that better
serve the community.”

critical needs and challenges of the world's migrant population.
