Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) announced today it is teaming with The
Hertz Corporation to offer WorldPerks®
members more opportunities to earn additional miles on car rentals from
any of Hertz’s more than 8,000 locations
globally, while saving 50% and earning double miles on weekend rentals
in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico through June 30, 2008.
WorldPerks members can now earn 50 WorldPerks miles per day for Hertz
rentals of one to four days, and 500 WorldPerks miles for Hertz rentals
of five days or more. To earn miles, members must provide their
WorldPerks number at the time of reservation or rental pickup.

Additionally, Hertz is offering WorldPerks members the opportunity to
save 50% and earn double miles on weekend rentals of two or more days of
an economy through full size car at participating airport in the US,
Canada and Puerto Rico now through June 30, 2008. Members only need to
provide CDP # 269339 and PC# 111646 at the time of reservation.
Reservations must be made in advance and all standard rental
qualifications must be met. Some restrictions apply.
More than 70 different businesses offer WorldPerks members the
opportunity to earn WorldPerks miles, doing business with companies they
do business with every day. Mileage Partners encompass car, hotel,
financial services, dining and retail, energy and dry cleaning and will
soon include grocery, telecommunications and entertainment businesses.
