DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/15/08 -- Energy Exploration International, Inc. ("EEI") and PetroQuest Exploration Inc. are pleased to announce that the EEI PetroQuest Harlan #1 well, from the Sklar #2 Project, is now hooked up and online, producing oil and gas as of May 1, 2008.

Our operator, Mission River, is very pleased with how the well is performing. This well came in as a gas well initially but is expected to go more to oil as it produces. It is starting to see a little more condensate each day while maintaining a good ftp. Mission River says it may take up to 90 days for the well to clean up to realize its full potential.

Mission River has added that the gas is very clean and the oil that is being produced is of a high quality (Sweet Texas Crude), which means both can command a premium price at market.
