I am about to be a new mother and held a baby registry at target and babies r us. At my baby shower I received many duplicate items only from the target registry. most items didn't include a gift receipt because the items were ones I picked out, and target is responsible for removing the items when bought the first time. Target failed at removing many items and so they were purchased again and again. When I went to return duplicate items for store credit, they would not take it back even though they were at fault and every item was from my registry. They expect me to call friends and family members and rudely and awkwardly ask for receipts for gifts they gave me. I refuse to do that because it is simply rude and target's registry made the error. All I want is store credit - for the exact amount the duplicate items are worth. They would not even scan the items which would show that they were purchased at a target store and they would not be losing a penny. As their policy stat

I still work at Target and I am 60 years young. I enjoy the sales associates and our guest each and every day. I haven't found another store with the same attitude and willingness to help as I have found at Target.
