It's not the home market that is hurting Home Depot and Lowe's, it is the cheap imported Chinese products that they are selling. After replacing hoses, nozles, hose carts, faucets, lamps, etc. several times, consumers start to realize that low pricing for cheap products is not a good buy. I no longer purchase anything I want to last at Lowe's or Home Depot. I will pay a little more for quality.

I witnessed a great deal of racism within home depot. They treat their employees and outside contractors like crap. Home depot going out of business would be a great improvement for everybody.

If McBush becomes president, you can expect more of the following:
'On top of that, the Gen Xers' life expectancies, and thus their retirements, will likely exceed even the boomers'. They'll need to save more aggressively. Yet, burdened by high housing costs, stifling college debt, stagnating wages and outsize health insurance and gas prices, Gen Xers are saving too little for retirement, just as workplace benefits have shrunk.'

Polite, good service by well trained employees is a thing of the past. When they are dealing with you they don't even look at you.... and the word, thank you, is seldom heard.

Maybe they are spending too much on the NASCAR team, people want to see NASCAR do something about rising oil prices, and as usual they are doing nothing, not even adding ethanol to fuel are cutting back the races by 25%.
