The problem is 100% managements fault. CEO's and other execs. take obscene bonuses that should go into computers, maintenance and better employee working conditions. They should have been incrementally increasing fares as fuel prices rose. Any kid running a lemonade stand is smart enough to know you can't operate at a loss. Asking for constant employee give backs while they line their pockets and crying about the fuel prices is just plain stupid. They should hire me, I would do their job for a lot less, I could show a profit and improve employee moral.

Re Contitinetal Airlines, Very Good report. My wife flew from Louisville to Norfolk via Cleveland leaving on Wed May14 and returning the following Monday. Not only were all flights on time but slightly early. No baggage was lost or mishandled either way. The weather was cloudy but also rainy.Snacks and wine were served at a marginal cost and the entire crew was coopeative. Please let them know that they have a happy pasenger

to me American Airlines is the worst. My son and his family and I flew to Denver from Lexington Ky for my father in law's funeral. it was a hetic packed 4 days. My son who was on emergency leave from the Navy had better luck flying from his ship by helo to Scotland to England and then to US than we did flying inside the US and when we got back to Lexington wouldn't you know it they lost his Luggage with his uniforms in it...We finally got it at 10 pm after complaining at the airport about his need to leave the next day to return to his ship in the North Atlantic.. they then questioned when we checked to make sure everything was in the suit case.

BAAARF...Southwest likes to believe they are immune from the financial constraints that the majors face, but wait until their fuel hedging points run out...we will see their trur colors...they are no better than anyone else....passengers want a lobster dinner at hamburger prices...it is not going to happen. fuel is strangling the airline industry as well as the rest of our econom

Since 9/11, we are paying more to fly for less service and convenience. the airlines are justifying the increase on price, but are ruducing all kind of service: more surcharge fees, less weight from 70 to 50 pounds, less meal or not meal, not liquids (water) thru security point to favor inside vendors, etc. It's very disappointed.

Frontier and British Airline are the best overall. I have chosen not to fly in recent years due to the lack of courtesy, but I had to when my brother past away. I flew Southwest (costing a small fortune due to the immediacy of the trip even with the bereavement discount) and I was detained and searched. My half-sister who is blond and green-eyed was crying and they let her right through.

As a professional in the industry, there is no other airline as sub-standard as NORTHWEST AIRLINES overall.

I'm still pursuing a matter with Delta Airlines where they screwed up royally. I January I bought two e-tickets to Montego Bay, Jamaica from JFK airport. My wife and I arrived 90 minutes before the departure time PRINTED ON THE TICKET and I told the clerk we were on a certain flight number to Montego Bay as I presented the ticket.

He said "that flight goes to Atlanta. The Montego Bay flight is boarding now - in fact, it may be too late to board." Turns out, that despite his best efforts to get us on the plane, we were left behind. We ended up staying in a mediocre motel near the airport for the night and departed 24 hours later.

I contacted Delta after our vacation and stated their misprint had cost us an expensive night at JFK and cost us a day and night of our vacation. They refused, and still refuse, to compensate us for the inconvenience and the cost incurred.

Having gone through the Better Business Bureau in Atlanta (Delta's corporate home) I find Delta claims it sen

I've flown several different airlines and my experience is that Frontier Airlines has the best service, the friendliest stewards, and the roomiest and most comfortable seats (not great, but better than the others).
