They did the maintnence over the past few weeks while the winter blend gasoline stocks were being used up. With crude so high and a 14 year high on gasolineinventories, the refineries were down longer, by choice, and were able to do more work.
This should help keep them running through the summer, barring any accidents.

Report This! Gas prices will go up some more due to the annual refinery maintenance shutdowns that happen every summer.

If the Fed doesn't cut interest rates the dollar will stabilze and oil will drop. When the Fed does cut rates, oil goes up. BTW, I once knew a girl who could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

Does this mean that if the Feds cut interest rates so that oil prices don't come down that we will all finally wake and realize that big oil runs the government and nobody else? Sorry to blow the cover off the golf ball concerning the state of our nation!

Oh my gosh, some Arabian King just announced his allowance for the week had fell below 2 billion, please be aware that there will be another price increase at the pump for the next few weeks. I have heard everything except the true facts, oil is on the stockmarket and will only continue to climb until the rich fat greedy get wealthier by the day and the working man gets poorer. The price will be what it will be, the common citizen has no recourse but to buy gas to go to work and go to work to buy gas. Makes sense doesn't it.

Oil supply is not a problem, as a matter of fact producers are having trouble finding buyers.

Wow ... big slide, all of .26 % ... I feel so much better now, better rush with the foreign made SUV to fill up the tank and get to Wal-Mart to fill up on toxic crap made in China.

They call this a "slide". We need a $60 a barrell nose dive then.
