But it should read, ' record oil prices lead to higher food prices caused by money mongers'.

In addition to the traders and speculators killing us with gas prices, now its corn - last week the bushel doubled in price but my farm friends are not seeing any of that profit. Same with beef, feed has escalated but when the beef goes to auction, they are getting low dollar. The price you see in the stores does not related to the herders or farmers cost. - It is all inflated at store level. Milk went up over $1.50 a gallon, the dairy farmers were only increased 25 cents per gallon - the Dairy association took the rest and then tried to demand the dairy farmers increase their cow count but the farmers can't clear the cost of feed as it is with a 25 cents increase only to have the dairy association to take more.
Its a domino effect and its got to be stopped, starting with oil sepculators and traders.

We can just be consoled that God doesn't require anyone to be rich at any point in their lives to be on the level with him. He's near every one of us, and a little struggle just keeps people in check. It's the maniacs who make millions and spit in the face of compassion that are going to be crying for mercy and will not receive it.
Whatever you do unto men, God will also do unto you. Unfortunately, God will have to wait a long time until the old bums die to get justice because our system is so corrupt and broken and rewards greed and selfishness.

africa has so many modern problems with food which all tie back to independence from europe....the main reason....they took farmland away from farmers who used it to grow food and gave it to buddies who don't grow food. africa's poverty is it's own fault. a severe lack of leadership. blaming the usa is just silly, and naive about the continent's problemsa

If the money would go to the villiages and the masses of people to be taught how to plant and harvest as well as read and write, the countries would be fixed. But the satanic leaders pocket the millions for adding a fourth wing on their second mansion and say "the people do not know what to do with it. We will use it more wisely." Yeah right.

Ethanol is costing us a fortune AND it's bad for the environment AND it is less efficient than real gasoline, so you actually have to use more.

However, it does have an effective lobby in D.C. Thanks for the misery, big ag companies such as Archer Daniels Midland. Enjoy your ill gotten gains while the rest of the world suffers.

CuscV,

on food here.....it's time the fed's realeased land reserves so we can grow more food. there are plenty of solutions to food and energy if congress would just get out of the way.
