No one can get a mortgage nowadays.Even my sister and her husband with absolutely perfect credit can't get a mortgage.They paid off all their credit card balances, have no car payments (their cars are paid off) and have no financial liabilities whatsoever.Both have been employed for over five years at the same company. Prior to that, they both had solid employment histories.That's why the housing market is down as much as it is !!!!
