opec is not part of this oil game , at least not this time . they are as powerless as we are , and as frustrated. its now caused by big oil companys followed by speculators calling the shots and the white house saying each day to keep going because were not in a depression yet.when we start rattling our water bowls the president makes a foolish "everything is ok speech" i am so angry with game they are playing. when is there gonna be a national uprise ? are we all just a bunch lambs ???!!

i live in boston area ! a tanker truck overturned last week spilling 11000 gallons of gas , how come the speculators missed that loss???shame on them, that could been enough reason to raise oil another 5 bucks a barrel !!!!

Mjt794two 03:13:10 PM Jul 16 2008 Report This! oil prices go up a couple of dollars and it immediately shows up as a 10 cent a gallon increase at the gas stations. when it goes down ten dollars, it won't show up at the pumps for a few weeks. hmmmm!=========================================believe me, i'm certainly no fan of big oil.....but, the price is determined in futures markets. not the day to day trading. for example....today's price is for future oil delivery (maybe not until october). and, LOL, just by coincidence.....just before the elections!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago it was supply and demand and you were booed off stage to mention SPECULATION. Take a look back and notice there has been NOWHERE in the world that experienced "no gas" as happened in the 70's. It's all hype to drill and sell out to big oil

Ironically, if you check your carbon footprint... There are tons of sites that will help you do that. Then you do what you have to in order to lower it (Minus going Organic foods) You'll find yourself much wealthier from week to week. I mean if you're not already on these types of plans... get off your high horse, I want my great grandkids to be able to live here too!

How to give yourself a raise! Immediately, everybody default on their unsecured credit cards. Bad credit for awhile, but they don't extend credit anymore anyway! And preaching don't buy on credit anyway! Impossible to sue everyone!

PEOPLE! Driving your car is NOT a right. Read the Constitution. I am in no way supporting the ridiculous price of oil, but COME ON! When will Americans realize we are a bunch of spoiled brats?! Europe (and most the rest of the world) has paid high fuel prices for years! We think because we live in America we DESERVE low fuel prices. GET REAL! Commute with your neighbors (not that you know any of them), grow your own vegetables (it might save you from Salmonilla) make a list for the things you must buy at the store and shop only ONCE a week (your bank account will thank you!), talk to your boss about working from home! My husband and I have made all these changes (and others) and our weekly fuel bill is still only $25.00.
