Yes, please investigate who is making a profit here and who is benefiting. We know its the gas companies, but I want names. President Bush is one of them. Otherwise he would do something, something to stop this madness. I have never seen such a crooked president and I go along with the first comment. Crime has increased. People are stealing and no one is safe. Is this what has come of this country? It is pure madness and President Bush has done nothing except spend money every where else but this country. Who is paying his gas bill? Us?

thats the trouble, people get on welfare to easy and sponge off the tax money of hard working people. just stop and think how many people you can name who could work but are taking advantage of the system. in the meantime we are trying to pay our bills while being over taxed to support a lot of these freeloaders

All I can say is "HELP"!! I've moved closer to my job (with higher lease payment) and bought a more fuel efficient car. I'm still having a hard time making ends meet. Plus I work for the local city government and they've already told us not to expect more than a 1.5% raise. Gas prices raised by 30% (not to mention groceries)! Do the math and then explain to me how our government can justify oil companies making billions in profits while I can't even take my kids on vacation or eat out for lunch with my coworkers. I would be better off on welfare, hud and all those other subsidies instead of trying to make an honest living earning a decent wage.
