Cop5454,, GIVE US A BREAK ! MILL WRIGHTS COMES DOWN AND LOOKS THE JOB OVER AND THEN CALL FOR THE ELECTRITIONS AND THEY WAIT FOR 15 MINUTES ,BECAUSE THE GUY HAS TO BE CALLED BACK IN FROM THE BAR. THEN HE COMES DOWN AND PULLS A BREAKER ,,SO THE MILL WRIGHTS CAN GO FURTHER,,THEN THEY SEE THEY NEED A PIPE FITTER TO TURN A KNOB OFF TO SHUT THE WATER OFF SO THEY HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER 10 15 MINUTES CAUSE THE PIPE FITTERS ARE ARGUEING THEY ARE ON BREAK AND THEY HAVE BEEN SITTING IN A LAID BACK CHAIR WATCHING A MOVIE OR TELEVISION,,COME ON THIS IS CRAZY ! IT REALLY WORKS LIKE THIS I WORKED MY TIME AT G.M.

skill trades are worth more, hint skill. anyone can do a line job but not anyone can fix or make repairs when the line goes down. When the line goes down the plant is losing 10,000's every minute that it's down.

i think its a shame for anyone to talk bad of any employee that works on a assembly line i worked for years , its a slave factory in shreveport la. its a place that most people ,wouldnt want to work, believe me its for the paycheck, not for the love , you have to take alot of crap , the union is just a name

You people that bash these workers crack me up. If they have it so good why dont you go do it. Yea there are some problems with the unions protecting dead beat workers and should be fixed. you act like its all the blue collar workers fault that there in trouble. Man you must be plain ol' dumb What about these CEO collecting HUGE salaries that do nothing more than run the company farther into the ground and then get paid many millions just to get let go. Thats F'd-up If they want to pay these morons all that money thats fine but there salaries should be performance based. There was one ford executive that lived in Florida and commuted back and forth every day on a private jet. Oh yea its the blue collar works fault.
