If Circuit City would like to get some of their losses back, they should contact Exxon. The iPod for $249 that I was going to buy from them went to the pumps at the Exxon station down the street. When I last looked, Exxon had huge record profits for the 1st quarter. I don't think I am alone. While many retailers are suffering and probably looking at shutting down for good, our gas companies continue to do great. Thats wonderful for them, and I am all for companies making a profit, but at the end of the day, because we have let our gas prices get out of hand, we are going to be stuck with only one place to spend our disposable income: the gas pumps. Retail outlets will be long gone.
