give the contract to general motors for the tankers

For Speed Burger Exp and WAkers3883 - Did you two not read paragraph 10 of the above story? Although they didn't give it headline coverage, the do admit that Boeing (the only alternative for our Air Force's decision to go with the European source for the tanker) is just as late with their 787 deliveries. By the way, the decision was solely the Air Force's and not President Bush. In fact, Congress and the administration have both called the Air Force to justify their decision. It still is being investigated.

This is the company chosen by the Bush administration to build the new Air Force tanker. Another good job by the decider and his minions.
