The reason jobs are going to all these off shore countries is because Americans are not willing to pay the exorbitant prices most items cost that are Made In America. You know why? Because unions have driven the prices out of sight! You CANNOT have it both ways. There are a few manufacturers in this country who are not out to rob the American people, and they are doing all right.

You don't like Walmart "junk?" Well, that is funny because most of what they sell can be bought anywhere else. AND they have forced these other grocers around here to get in line with their prices! I call that progress. I bought a pair of pj's there a few weeks ago for the first time ever, and they are my all time favorite - soooo I went back and bought two more pair. All three at the price of ONE pair at the other local department stores! Only occasionally, I run into a bad item so I take it back- rant and rave, and then get my money back. I buy hundreds of dollars of their merchandise every month. Of course, I still shop at other stores because they have things I can't get at Walmart.
