Too Much Medical Treatment?
For many consumers, good health care means seeing as many specialists as possible. It may also mean undergoing rounds of tests and, if a serious illness is diagnosed, prolonged hospital stays and extensive treatment. Though the "more is better" idea seems to make sense, recent research has shown that none of the above necessarily helps you live better or longer.
As part of its report on this topic, Consumer Reports shares its list of the most aggressive and conservative medical centers in the U.S.

Madison Wi has some of the best health care in the mid west. University Hospitals and Clinics has a top rated transplant program as well as Children's Hospital. Madison General/Meriter Is known for Opthamology and Urology Deartments and Saint Mary's has a great knee and hip replacement departments. Hospitals like these make Madison a constant top10 city to live in in all the research polls.

I like La Palma Hospital. They don't accept Blue Cross PPO and that results in no care unless I need it. Oh, Blue Cross plays games with claims and is over priced. The operators of this ripoff need to be put in the spot light. Big money at the top and screw the insured.

Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa Florida is without a doubt the best hospital for cancer. My dad had Melanoma you are gone in about two years he lasted seven. He was an amazing man. After his Chemo he would say let's go eat. His doctor without a doubt was the best. Dr. Doud was his name. He thought dad was one of a kind because of his attitude.
My mother went to be with the Lord there. Dad, my wife and I sung hymns and prayed with her until she took her last breath. Dad. Prayed blessings over my wife and I for an hour. Stopped talking in the morning and the next morning went to be with the Lord and Mom. He never had any pain until the last three weeks. Both Mom and Dad had great care there. I would drive across the state every Sunday for four years to help them. My blessing.

Until we completely revamp lobbyist "access" (meaning bribery) to politicians, we will never see healthcare reform. The AMA and the HMOs have most politicians in their back pocket, and they're making a TON of $$$$$ off our unregulated system now. The US is in the dark ages as far as a working healthcare system due to this stranglehold on Congress, and so many folks are paying big and dying younger as a result.
