New Feature: Remove Items from the Scrolling Ticker
Posted: Wednesay 11/18/08 12:17 PM EDT
Many of you have been asking how to remove items from the "Recent Quotes" section of the scrolling ticker found at the top of the portfolios page. Now, by simply hovering your mouse over any item scrolling in the ticker, a small red frame will appear around that item with a red "X" showing on the upper right. Just click the red "X" and the item will be removed. It's that simple.

A small number of users have reported an issue where they sometimes have to sign-in a second time to view their portfolios even after they have signed-in to the AOL client software. We are working on a solution to this issue. In the meantime, for a manual work-around to this issue, click here for instructions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Portfolio Version - "Classic" & "Full"
Posted: Monday 4/30/09 12:57 PM EDT
Our new "Classic" portfolio version setting will give users the ability to use a smaller, quicker version of the portfolios pages - which will also work well on mobile devices - like the pages we had prior to the current version going live. Users will be able to toggle between the new "Classic" version and the current "Full" version with a single click. Both the 'My Portfolios' main page and the Portfolio View page will carry this new option.

Update: Known Issue - "Finance" QuickView is Blank
Posted: Thursday 11/18/08 4:29 PM EDT
If the ?Finance? QuickView opens but the contents are blank, the most likely cause is due to a known incompatibility between AOL and Adobe Flash version 10 and above. AOL is working to address this issue which may take several weeks. To see which version of Flash you are using, you can click this link from Adobe which will tell you your specific version of Flash: here.

While AOL is working to address this incompatibility, users should be able to work around this issue by uninstalling Adobe Flash 10 or above and re-installing Adobe Flash version 9. Adobe Flash 9 can be found on the Adobe web site or by clicking here.

    Known Issues

Portfolio by Email (Formerly 'Portfolio Direct') ? Alphabetical Sort
Some users of the former 'Portfolio Direct' (now 'Portfolio by Email') may see their portfolio holdings listed out of order alphabetically. We are working on a fix for this issue.

In the meantime, to manually fix this issue, simply open the 'Portfolio Direct' portfolio, click the 'Edit Portfolio' button and click the 'Save' button on the 'Edit Portfolio' page. This will re-set your portfolio to alphabetical ordering and all future emails should be returned to alphabetical ordering.

    Printing Your Portfolio
Several users have written asking how to best print their portfolios. For some users of Internet Explorer, using the browser print function may not properly print. We are investigating this issue. In the meantime, please use our 'Print Preview' feature (found on both the 'My Portfolios' and Portfolio Display pages) which formats your portfolio pages cleanly for printing.

For details on where to find and how to use this feature and others, click on the left-hand navigation item labeled 'Key Features: 'How to?''.
