Pat Fort LauderdaleI was alarmed to read the statistics on the large number of "homeless" children in America.....Some because of foreclosure on their family home and many others simply because mom and dad have lost their jobs because of the economic crisies.Right now, I believe our top priority for providing should be here at home and not overseas.
MartinGrannypat 10:31:32 AM Mar 20 2009
Pat Fort LauderdaleAn alarming nuimber of American children are homeless because the family has lost their home. .....Before we dish out money "overseas" and to chronic under-achievers here at home who refuse to work even in times of economic propsperity...let's take care of our own American children and grandchildren!Loving compassion begins at home. ....A lot of homeless children are because of our economic crises ...mom and dad have lost their jobs ....and not because of over buying a home!Let's have hearts and take care of our own first!

I am retired now and I know how hard I worked on the job and raised the family with all the family and household responsibilities. I do not get the social security that men get because we don't get the same pay as men. We need to change this before it continues. WOMEN DESERVE EQUAL PAY. EQUAL RETIREMENT MONIES, we aren't getting them now.

Regarding the World Trade Agreement with the European Union, consequencly,2 weeks July 2006 prior in France the United Nations had announced the world food famine.CNN, reports it in Feb.2007. Why did the Media not report this to us as the Assoc. Press had released this info in 2006.
Kathychevychase 04:13:38 PM Aug 07 2008
July 2006 Condalisa Rice was fighting the Eurpean Union on their demand for not wanting American Farmers to be subsidized, 21 days she stood tough, finally having to reneg and now because of the E. U. we pay the so called true prices of food. So I guess we are to call 2 grapes and a slice of cheese a meal like the French, or $11 a gallon for gas like the Germans.
