Zurich to Host Modern Healthcare Webinar on “Medical Homes”

Recent and ongoing national conversations on healthcare reform have shone a spotlight on a new approach to patient-oriented, cost effective healthcare.

The “medical home” is a concept that, despite its name, is more of a perspective than a piece of property, and on Wednesday, February 24, Zurich, a leading property and casualty insurance provider globally and in North America, will host a webinar discussing the financial and performance-related implications of medical homes.

According to the American College of Physicians, “a Patient-Centered Medical Home is a team-based model of care led by a personal physician who provides continuous and coordinated care throughout a patient's lifetime to maximize health outcomes.”
