Unum Group to Present at the FBR Capital Markets 2009 Fall Investor Conference

and chief executive officer, will be representing the company at the FBR
Capital Markets 2009 Fall Investor Conference on Dec. 1 in New York City.
Watjen is scheduled to speak at 1:35 p.m. Eastern and will discuss the
company’s business strategy and future growth opportunities. There will
be a live audio webcast of the presentation available on the “Investors”
