Toys R Us Opening 350 Holiday Stores
By MAE ANDERSON
, AP
NEW YORK (Sept. 16) -Toys R Us plans to open nearly 350 pop-up stores in malls and inside Babies R Us stores by early October to drive sales during the crucial holiday season.
It is the first time the company has opened a significant amount of such stores for its busiest season. About 80 of the stores will be in shopping malls and more than 260 will be shops within Babies R Us locations.
Toys R Us CEO Jerry Storch said store closings among other retailers and the weak economy helped the company get some good deals on temporary leases. But location was the primary factor in selecting space.
Since KB Toys liquidated, there has been no major mall-based toy retailer. Wayne, N.J.-based Toys R Us hopes to win business by filling the void.

Their DC's, especially the one in Joliet ILL. are run by uneducated loosers and they only hire temp labor who take away the jobs of the homegrown folk. They steal, damage and spit and piss on the merch then sell it to you and your kids play with ******* the most dirt filled place ive ever seen.
DONT BUY FROM TOYS R US, NONE OF THE PRODUCT THEY SELL IS MADE IN THE USA.
