the little bank Announces 5% Stock Dividend and Cash Dividend of $0.075 Per Share today

the little bank (OTCBB: LTLB) announced that its Board of Directors, at its meeting on October 21, 2009, approved a stock dividend of 5% and a semi-annual cash dividend of $0.075 per share on the Bank’s common stock. The combination of the 5% stock dividend and the $0.075 cash dividend results in essentially the same total cash dividend that has been paid in prior periods.
The 5% stock dividend will be paid to all shareholders of record as of November 30, 2009. The payable date will be December 15, 2009. Cash-in-lieu will be paid on fractional shares based on the stock’s market value at the close of business on November 30, 2009. In addition to the stock dividend, the little bank will pay a cash dividend of $0.075 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 15, 2009. Cash dividends will be paid post-split on the increased number of shares. The payable date for this cash dividend will be December 30, 2009. Currently, 2,324,143 shares of common stock are issued and outstanding.
The little bank is headquartered in Kinston, North Carolina and currently serves the Lenoir, Wayne, Onslow, Pitt, and Craven county markets.
