Tatto Media, a smart online advertising company, will be featured as the Platinum Sponsor at Affiliate Summit West on January 17-19 at the Rio in Las Vegas, NV. The company provides high-tech performance based advertising platforms and delivers billions of targeted ads each month.

In addition to its sponsorship, Tatto Media will be releasing a report based on findings from the previous Affiliate Summit, which took place in August 2009. The purpose of the report was to compile data on platform usage, promotional offers, direct response advertising and gather thoughts on the overall industry outlook.
Some of the key findings within this report included:
  • 78% of affiliates said they use Google to promote their offers and continue to rely on top tier platforms as their choice for promotional offers.
  • Additionally, nearly 72% of respondents believe the platforms they are currently using will continue to be lucrative into the future. Only 4.7% said they did not think their platforms will be lucrative in the future.
  • The most popular vertical in which affiliates are promoting their offers is health and beauty. Nearly 64% of respondents chose this sector.
  • Furthermore, an overwhelming 92% of affiliates felt that their current verticals would continue to be successful into the future.
  • Most affiliates, nearly 59%, are getting advice and information about the industry from online blogs, as opposed to conferences/tradeshows and trade magazines.
  • Proving there is still a lot of opportunity to shape the industry, almost 43% of respondents said that they weren’t sure if direct response advertising would impact their business.
This year’s Affiliate Summit West show will include an exhibit hall with affiliate marketers, vendors, and networks, as well as a variety of educational sessions covering the latest trends and information from affiliate marketing experts. The keynote speakers at this year’s show are Dr. Robert Cialdini and Brian Clark.
