Statement By Delta Children's Products
PR Newswire
NEW YORK, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- We were concerned to hear that another company announced a recall of some of its cribs yesterday. Unfortunately during the course of the day, there were several inaccurate reports that Delta had a new recall. That is not true. Delta's recall of cribs for repair took place a year ago, and was highly publicized at the time. Delta is not involved in any way with the current crib recall.
We do want to take this opportunity to remind consumers that if they have any doubts about any products they own or are considering purchasing, they should check the US Government Recalls website (
www.recalls.gov) to make sure they are not the subject of a recall.
We want to especially warn consumers who may be looking to buy or sell used products this holiday season. Please check your items very carefully before selling or buying them on websites or at thrift stores. Buying or selling recalled products is dangerous and illegal.
If you think you may have a Delta crib that was recalled for repair last year, please go to our website for more information -
http://www.deltachildrensproducts.com/ . For additional information and safety tips please go to the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association website, at
http://jpma.org/.
