Sinclair expects higher 3Q net broadcast revenue

BALTIMORE -Television station owner Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. said Tuesday it expects third-quarter net broadcast revenue to surpass its earlier guidance.
Its shares climbed more than 11 percent in morning trading.
The company now expects net broadcast revenue of about $136 million, above its earlier outlook of about $126.6 million.
Sinclair plans to post the quarter's results on Nov. 4.
Shares rose 44 cents, or 11.8 percent, to $4.17 a share in morning trading after rising to a 52-week high of $4.29 earlier in the session.
