Romney: Obama economic stimulus plan is a failure
AP
WASHINGTON -Former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney says the time has come to stop the economic stimulus program, contending that it has not worked as the Obama administration planned.
Three days after the Obama White House touted the program as creating or saving some 650,000 jobs, Romney said in a nationally broadcast interview that "the stimulus that the president and the Congress passed is not what's helped the economy."
Romney said on CBS's "The Early Show" that the administration's stimulus plan "didn't work" and he said the reason things seem to be ticking up in the business world is because the "private sector" has regained its equilibrium on its own.

Romney might not be that smart but he is right, the stimulus did not help anyone except for Obama friends he had to pay back for voting for him. The only jobs created are the ones Obama gave to his high paying CZARS. The problem with our country happened when Clinton decided to give all those low paying loans to people who couldn't afford them and when the APR went through the roof they lost their houses. They shouldn't have gotten those loans. The democrats pulled that one off not Bush. Yes, Bush was in office when it all fell through but he didn't cause it. Read the news. Don't blame everything on the Republicans. Look at how the Democrats are voting now on the illegals and the health plans. Wake UP!

Fools like Romney would say anything done by Obama and the Democrats is a failure. The economy was in such bad shape after Bush, Cheney, et al that it is going to take a long time for the economy to recover completely. There has only been a small percentage of the stimulus plan implemented to date, so it hasn’t had time to fully take effect. Four years ago, Hannity said that the Democrats lost and should get over it, now I say to the Republicans, you lost, get over it!

Where was Romney when the last administration was pushing deregulation and passing all those bills helped the financial institutes hurt those on main street? All of the sudden he's so doggone smart, but as this country was being sold out and campaign contributions were being slaughtered on congress members he wasn't speaking up. Wonder how many of those bills that help banks and brokerage firms push debt into retirement accounts carry Romney's signature. Did he sign that bankruptcy bill that went so far that even those with good credit are now feeling the financial punches. Where was Romney when it counted?
