AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PEC) has selected Time Warner Cable Business Class to provide the technology that reliably and securely connects its offices and substations.
PEC selected TWC to develop a customized Ethernet connection with Point-to-Point services. The solution will replace cellular broadband links at substations and enable PEC's geographically dispersed offices to share information in a more efficient and secure manner.
"Time Warner Cable demonstrated they could develop a customized solution highly suitable for our business," said Michelle Galloway, manager of Technical Communications with PEC. "To best serve our customers, it was important for us to find the best technology to connect a number of locations in a dependable way."
Time Warner Cable Business Class is providing a dedicated local private network that enables fast and secure transfer of information. The technology enables data connectivity over TWC's fiber network to interconnect PEC with high bandwidth and a direct connection between multiple locations.
"Our goal with PEC and all of our business customers is to help them meet their technology and business goals," said John Owen, president of Time Warner Cable Commercial Services in Texas. "We are committed to providing our clients customized technology that is reliable, easy to understand and ultimately makes their business run better."
PEC and all Time Warner Cable Business Class customers receive 24/7 customer support from TWC dedicated support and service teams.
