Intelligent Effects: Making Information Easier to Access for Enterprises
Company’s Smart Expansion Includes Formation of New Applications Business Unit Focused on Enterprise Software Solutions
Business Wire
A company’s ability to leverage and communicate information sets it
apart from the competition. Intelligent Effects helps Enterprise
businesses make sense of critical business data to become more
competitive and profitable. Intelligent Effects’ newly formed
applications business unit and its leadership team will enhance and
increase the scope of Intelligent Effects’ current data and
information-based consulting services.
Working closely with clients, Intelligent Effects transforms raw data
into information used to manage medium to large businesses. The new
services enable Intelligent Effects to create productivity applications
via Microsoft® SharePoint® Server 2007 & 2010, Microsoft® Office 2007 &
2010 and custom Office business applications. By bringing meaningful
information directly to the desktop, Intelligent Effects helps clients
leverage familiar tools to answer business questions and focus on
business objectives rather than the technology itself.
“It’s a smart expansion; the expertise of our new team complements our
business performance management services. The addition of the
applications business unit enables us to work with clients from
end-to-end—whether they need help with data quality or performance
management or building applications, we can provide the services they
need,” said Stefan Papp, co-founder and president of Intelligent
Effects. “With the upcoming release of SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010,
Intelligent Effects is uniquely qualified to meet the Enterprise
community’s needs.”
Three software industry veterans join company
To lead the company’s expanded efforts, three software industry veterans
have joined the company’s applications business unit.
Rob
Barker, formerly vice president, Application & Collaboration
Platform Practice for Advaiya, Inc., will be vice president of the new
group. Barker has extensive experience addressing core business
challenges with the right technologies. He also served as senior
Microsoft technical evangelist focused on Microsoft Office and
SharePoint to the Global ISV community. Barker has co-authored two
Microsoft Press books,
6
Microsoft OBAs and
Programming
Microsoft OBAs.
Jeff
House brings 20 years experience in software development to his new
position as director of development for the applications business unit.
His background includes serving as director of development for a
Microsoft consulting shop and working for Microsoft as a program manager
architect on the Visual Studio team and as an enterprise architect and
data specialist.
Todd
Baginski is joining the team as senior solutions architect. His
expertise lies in his knowledge of Microsoft® SharePoint® Server and
Microsoft® Office systems. Most recently, Todd was a senior enterprise
solutions strategist at
Advaiya,
Inc., following almost five years as vice president at SharePoint
Experts.
About Intelligent Effects

2006 by Stefan Papp and Karl Reeves to transform complex data into
information that companies can easily access to achieve their goals.

Microsoft, where he held such varied roles as IT group manager and
senior program manager. Reeves worked for Microsoft for 13 years,
