Hecla Mining rose $.32 or 7.0 percent, to $4.89.
Pan American Silver rose $.76 or 3.7 percent, to $21.50.
Silver Standard rose $.46 or 2.7 percent, to $17.73.
Silver Wheaton rose $.75 or 5.5 percent, to $14.33.
