PROCTER & GAMBLE
Net income: Down 1 percent at $3.35 billion, or 1.06 per share.
Revenue: Down 6 percent to $19.8 billion.
Expectations: Analysts expected earnings of 99 cents on $19.83 billion.
Outlook: 3 percent to 6 percent growth in net sales, raised low end of earnings guidance by 3 cents to a range of $4.02-$4.12.
COLGATE-PALMOLIVE
Net income: Up 18 percent at $590 million, or $1.12 per share.
Revenue: Up 4 percent to $4 billion.
Expectations: Analysts expected earnings of $1.11 per share and lower revenue of $3.94 billion.
Outlook: Double-digit earnings-per-share growth in 2010.
KELLOGG
Net income: Rose 6 percent to $361 million, or 94 cents per share.
Revenue: Nearly flat at $3.28 billion.
Expectations: Analysts expected earnings of 84 cents per share on revenue of $3.27 billion.
Outlook: Raised to $3.08 to $3.14, assuming constant currency, for full year.
