Leading trade publication Progressive Grocer has named two Castor & Pollux Pet Works® products among top items introduced in grocery stores this year.

New GOOD BUDDY ^® Pumpkin & Apple and “Mimi’s Favorite” Mac & Cheese dog cookies are among 80 new products recognized in Progressive Grocer ’ s Editor’s Picks for grocery in 2009.

Honors for the tasty natural treats for dogs reflect a general trend toward healthy products in grocery, but most notably in the pet products aisle, where “health and wellness continues as an overriding trend,” according to Progressive Grocer.
